The Cathedral 2001
"Years before I was asked to paint just such a Cathedral, but I had not the courage. And after spending long periods of time throughout Europe, this is my Cathedral, yet not any particular one. Bits and pieced, knife used along with brush. Color strategically placed, and among the chaos, colors so vibrant, patterns form leaded glass, stability where none exists. A full moon breaks, opens to a multi-hued sky of blue between large cumulus clouds, variances of reds."
